Image sizes, formats, and placement details

Overview

All advertising on wellfd is managed by the wellfd admin team. This ensures a cohesive, high-quality experience for our users while maintaining editorial integrity. Below are the specifications for each ad space and what information you need to provide.

Important:

Venue managers cannot upload ads directly. All ad placements are handled by wellfd admins through the Admin → Manage Ads interface.

Desktop Sidebar Ads (Spaces 1-4)

Spaces 1 & 3 (Vertical Banners)

  • Size: 160 x 600 pixels
  • Format: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Max File Size: 150KB
  • Placement: Left and right sidebars
  • Visibility: Desktop only (hidden on mobile/tablet)
  • Available to: Champion tier or à la carte purchase

Spaces 2 & 4 (Square Ads)

  • Size: 160 x 250 pixels
  • Format: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Max File Size: 100KB
  • Placement: Below vertical banners
  • Visibility: Desktop only
  • Available to: Community Partner tier and above

Mobile & List View Ads (Spaces 5, 6, 9)

Mobile Flexible Ads

  • Recommended Size: 300 x 250 pixels
  • Alternative Sizes: 320 x 100, 300 x 600
  • Format: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Max File Size: 150KB
  • Placement: Throughout restaurant list on mobile devices
  • Visibility: Mobile/tablet only (hidden on desktop)

Rotation System: Multiple ads can be uploaded to spaces 5, 6, and 9. The system randomly displays these ads throughout the list view, with one ad shown every 8 restaurants. This prevents repetition and ensures all ads get exposure.

Premium Placement Ads

Space 7 (Sticky Bottom Ad) 🌟

  • Size: 728 x 90 pixels (leaderboard)
  • Mobile Size: 320 x 50 pixels
  • Format: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Max File Size: 100KB
  • Placement: Fixed to bottom of screen
  • Visibility: Always visible while scrolling

💎 Premium: $149/month, rotating among up to 25 advertisers (~4% impression share each)

Space 8 (Mobile Top Banner)

  • Size: 320 x 100 pixels
  • Format: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Max File Size: 100KB
  • Placement: Top of mobile homepage
  • Visibility: Mobile/tablet only
  • Available to: Community Partner tier and above

What You Need to Provide

When submitting an ad to wellfd, provide the following:

1. Ad Image(s)

  • • High-quality image(s) in correct dimensions for desired ad space
  • • Format: JPG, PNG, or GIF (animated GIFs accepted)
  • • Professional design with clear branding and call-to-action
  • • Readable text (avoid tiny fonts)

2. Destination Link

Where should the ad link to?

  • • Your restaurant page: Direct to your wellfd profile
  • • Your website: Link to your own site
  • • Specific voucher/deal: Deep link to claim a specific offer
  • • Event page: Link to upcoming event details
  • • No link: Display-only ad (not recommended)

3. Campaign Details

  • • Ad title/reference name: Internal reference (e.g., "Summer Special 2026")
  • • Desired ad space(s): Which space number(s) you want
  • • Start date: When ad should begin showing (optional)
  • • End date: When ad should stop showing (optional)
  • • Target audience notes: Any specific timing/targeting preferences
Design Best Practices

✓ Do:

  • • Use high-resolution images
  • • Include clear call-to-action ("Visit Us!", "Claim Deal", etc.)
  • • Match wellfd's aesthetic (food-focused, elegant)
  • • Keep text minimal and readable
  • • Use your restaurant's branding/colors
  • • Test on mobile devices

✗ Don't:

  • • Use tiny, unreadable text
  • • Overload with too much information
  • • Use low-quality or pixelated images
  • • Include misleading claims
  • • Violate any trademarks
  • • Submit wrong dimensions
How to Submit Your Ad

    Ad image(s), destination link, campaign details

  3. wellfd team reviews and uploads

    Admin uploads ad through Manage Ads interface

  4. Ad goes live

    Your ad appears on wellfd.com according to schedule

  5. Track performance

    wellfd provides click analytics and engagement data

Community Partner Tier

Champion Tier

  • • Rotating amongst all ads on site/app
  • • Including tower ads on desktop (160x600 vertical banners)
  • • All ad spaces available to Champions
Premium Sticky Ad (Space 7)

$149/month per restaurant - À la carte

  • • Rotating placement among up to 25 advertisers (~4% impression share each)
  • • Always visible at bottom of screen (desktop & mobile)
  • • Available to any tier as add-on
Important Notes
  • •All ads must comply with wellfd's advertising policies (no misleading claims, appropriate content, etc.)
  • •wellfd reserves the right to reject or remove ads that don't meet quality standards
  • •Community Partner and Champion ads rotate if more subscribers than available spaces
  • •Sticky ad (Space 7) rotates among up to 25 advertisers - each gets ~4% impression share
  • •wellfd may adjust ad placement algorithms to optimize user experience and ad performance
